Italia & Palkovic is a mother-daughter law partnership, composed of attorneys Cathleen Italia and Christine M. Palkovic. In 2014, Cathy and Christine brought together their shared passion for helping others using their legal expertise to build a practice aimed towards helping customers of all ages and backgrounds. Since then, they’ve helped countless families on their journeys through home ownership, estate management, and much more.
Cathleen and Christine bring a combined 40+ years of law practice with primary expertise surrounding Real Estate, Estate Planning, and Trust and Estate Administration. She is a graduate of Lewis University and the John Marshall Law School, and is a member of WealthCounsel. In addition to her time practicing law, Cathy has always carried a special interest in not-for-profit companies and assists various Illinois not-for-profits, including a children's charity and two Montessori schools.

Like Cathy, Christine earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. Christine is a member of WealthCounsel, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyer’s Association. She goes to great lengths to partner with her clients for their long-term legal welfare, and especially enjoys helping first-time home buyers.
